| Proposal consists of restructuring the back of the existing house and building a new glazed contemporary extension in a conservation area. The concept was to transform the existing dark space on the centre of the lower ground floor into a large well-lit, open area by borrowing light from the glazed extension. Innovative design features include vertical metal-chains in the rear garden acting as a rain water down pipe. |
